Let’s take this up a notch. As we point to the best dishes in Glasgow, it is inevitable that our gaze would fall on the menu in Rogano. The Art Deco classic is the oldest restaurant in the city and the oldest seafood restaurant in Scotland.

The current interiors date back to 1935 when the Queen Mary was being built on the Clyde. Rogano was decked out in the popular style of the day and has resisted any attempts to update their look.

Rogano is a favourite spot in the city centre for a celebration and specialises in memorable meals. Their chefs have long relationships with fish suppliers across the country and access to the finest seafood very soon after it is landed.

Their Scottish Seafood Fruits De Mer is a spectacular showcase, an indulgent dish for one or an ideal platter to share. The langoustines deserve a special mention – a national treasure.

Scottish Seafood Fruits De Mer. Mussels, langoustines, oysters, prawns, pickled herring, smoked salmon, smoked mackerel & dressed crab (For 1: £32, For 2: £64, Supplement for half lobster: £22)
